Angel of Grief: A New Dawn for New Orleans

14" x 18" This quilt has been accepted into the Sacred Threads exhibit for June 2007 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Machine quilted; McKenna Ryan's Ombre Amethyst fabric was used as the background and I love how it evokes the sense of water. The window is my hand painted silk. Tsukineko paints and metallic thread were also used. Private Collection
