The Farm

16" x 18" This quilt is a picture of the farm my mother-in-law grew up on in Bridgehampton, Long Island, NY. The photo was taken before the big hurricane of 1938. The tree behind the house is no longer there and I don't believe the shutters are on the house now. Machine applique and quilting, threadpainting, water color. Private Collection
