Welcome Sarah

This is a closeup of the center piece of Welcome Sarah. The quilt is of my granddaughter at 3 days old. The base is muslin. Free motion threadpainting was done for hair and outlinining, pastels were used to add color to faces and blanket. This is probably the most personal and favorite art quilt I have made to date. NFS
