Welcome to North Carolina's Beautiful Beaches

This quilt was done for the last Journal Art Quilt project by Karey Bresenham. It is currently in the exhibit at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX. It will travel with the exhibit until the end of 2008, so is not currently for sale. A variety of techniques were used to create this quilt. The background was handpainted on fabric from Hollis Chatelaine. Free motion thread painting, free motion stitching and quilting, photo transfer, and Angelina fibers were used in many of the small "postcards" from NC.
